Jesus Loves you so much that He came to earth to pay the penalty for your sins at the cross so you can live in heaven with Him forever. In order to receive God's free gift of eternal life and know Jesus now and forever, the Bible states that you must . . .
1. Believe that Jesus paid the penalty for all of your past, present and future sins by His death on the cross. John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 4:10.
2. Believe that Jesus is alive as God in heaven. Isaiah 9:6; Romans 10:9; John 5:18; John 8:24, 42,58; 14:23.
3. Believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Luke 10:16; John 14:6; Acts 4:12.
4. Believe that Jesus will become your God when you submit to Him as your Lord, God and Master. Mark 1:15; Luke 6:46.
5. Believe that Jesus will forgive you forever when you ask Him to. Romans 10:13.
If you believe the above truths and you believe that you are ready to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then say this prayer to Jesus (or one similar to it) and mean every word: "Lord Jesus, I believe that you God, the only way to heaven, and I believe that You came to earth to pay the penalty for all of my sins. I trust you to come into my heart by Your Spirit, forgive me for all of my past mistakes and all of my future failures. I submit to you as my Master and my God. Help me to live for you every day. Thank You for saving me Your child. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen."
I encourage you to tell your family, friends and pastor that you just received Jesus! If you do not have a church home, find a Bible believing church near you where you feel at home; join that church and begin to attend regularly so you can grow as a new Christian.
